Title: Part-Time Student-Product Engineering/Business-Urbandale IA, Ankeny IA or Moline IL- 83002
Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position
This position may report to the John Deere facility located at Urbandale Iowa, Ankeny Iowa or Moline Illinois. It is open to partial remote work with work onsite as needed during both the academic year and summer semester subject to Manager discretion.
The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Companys regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.
This position will work with business managers and engineers that support John Deere work with outside companies that produce agricultural products
Develop and run reports on financial performance of John Deere partners as well as developing business cases
Develop a scorecard and compile information on shipment performance and other metrics
Assist Partnering Managers with presentation generation and assistance with project schedule maintenance
What Skills You Need
Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering or Finance; others may apply
Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university
Graduation date of Spring 2023 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
Available to work 10-20 hours/week during the academic year
Available to work 30-40 hours/week during the summer semester
Ability to work onsite as needed during periods of time withremote workaccommodated
One year experience or completed classes with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Interest in working with people of different backgrounds
What Makes You Stand Out
One year of experience or completed classes involving projects, schedules and timelines
Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
One year of experience or completed classes on financial metrics
