Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa (US-IA) - Ankeny

Function: Quality Engineering

Title: Part Time Student - Quality Engineering - Ankeny, IA - 62339

Your Responsibilities

  • This position will support Reliability and Warranty activities through the use of the Machine Data Analytics Workbench (MDAW), Warranty Warehouse, and Non-conforming Corrective Action (NCCA) system.

  • The position will be responsible for reporting and data analysis on assigned projects.

What It Takes

  • Corrective action processes (8D)

  • Statistical data analysis and reporting

  • Root cause and failure mode identification (3 Legged 5 Why)

  • Experience with heavy machinery or agricultural products Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PPT, Visio)

  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university

  • Pursuing Engineering Degree Quality Certification through ASQ

  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis

  • Graduation date May 2022 - requirement of the program is you are available to work a minimum of 12 months prior to graduation.

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

  • 16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year

  • 35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester

A Strong Candidate Will Also Have

  • Team leadership

  • Project management experience

  • Warranty analysis

  • Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA)

  • Quality Engineering experience

  • Knowledge of GD&T
