Title: Jensen Farm Manager - 48996

Your Responsibilities

As the Jensen Farm Manager, for the John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG-Bondurant Facility), you will provide leadership of the Test Farm facility along with integration of ISG products on the full customer system. In addition, you will:

  • Be the recognized knowledge expert

  • Work closely with TDP and PDP teams to test full end-to-end system

  • Coordination of shows at farm Host events, ride and drives, photo and video shoots

  • Work with sister factories and System Test Engineers to utilize the land for testing

  • Prioritize equipment use for System Test and visitors

  • Work closely with System Test Technicians to instruct, train, and guide testing

  • Ensure safety and training of all individuals entering facility

  • Assist in yearly start-up and shut down of El Centro, CA test site

  • Speak knowledgeably about all ISG products

What Skills You Need

  • 5 or more years of experience in Product/System Test

  • Expertise with agricultural equipment, precision farming technologies, farming practices

  • Experience with product development lifecycle process

  • Experience with test planning and execution

  • Experience with electronic instrumentation and data collection tools

  • Experience with mechanical & hydraulic systems and tools

  • Experience with test farm facility management

  • Experience with budgets

  • Strong customer relations, marketing, and communication skills

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience with PV&V or Reliability Engineering

  • Knowledge of user experience design and usability testing

  • Knowledge of software development processes

  • Experience with Agile Software development practices

  • Experience with systems engineering practices

  • Advanced Degree or MBA

Education (or equivalent work experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Agronomy or Business Administration related discipline
