Title: Product Owner, Marketing Order Code Information - Life Cycle Management - 66082

Your Responsibilities

This position may be located in Cary, NC, or East Moline, IL per the hiring manager's discretion. This may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.

As a Product Owner, Marketing Order Code Information (MOCI) – Life Cycle Management (LCM) for John Deere located in Cary, NC, or East Moline, IL you will have full responsibility for owning the product end to end. This is accomplished with excellent communication skills and business knowledge. In addition, you will:

  • Be responsible for solution-based collaboration requiring creative problem-solving skills

  • Make decisions without all information consulting with SMEs and IT while keeping the strategic vision in mind.

  • Collaborate with Stakeholder groups, users and IT to deliver business value

  • Be a liaison with Business stakeholders, IT scrum team, product manager

  • Identify and prioritize short term and mid-term roadmaps through business cases by engaging with Product Manager and Stakeholders

  • Anticipate client needs by identifying business needs and translating them into development features

  • Lead 1-2 IT Scrum teams

  • Participate in all applicable Agile events

  • Contribute to measuring the success of the scrum team with the Scrum Master. Success will be measured by the outcomes (business value) and velocity.

  • Work with stakeholders in multiple time zones due to the global nature of this position. This includes virtual meetings in multiple time zones with India-based scrum teams and global stakeholders

  • Ability to establish relationships and connections with key influencers and stakeholders to increase collaboration

  • Proven track record of executing and delivering consistent results

  • Experience using or managing Order Fulfillment, Product Line Marketing, Pricing or other business processes

  • Ability to use fact-based analysis to prioritize global business value

  • Global perspective and the ability to work with different cultures

  • Experience managing highly complex projects or digital products

  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 25%

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Customer Acquisition Process (ECAP), Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) or Marketing Order Code Information

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience writing requirements/needs or Agile features and user stories

  • Multiple Division experience

  • Experience using MOCI or participating in ECAP or EPDP processes

  • 3 or more years of experience managing and or leading a team of 5 or more people

  • Strong understanding of technical terms, processes, and practices of products within scope

  • Knowledge of or experience in Agile development methodologies/tools

  • Proven experience managing consumer/customer needs on digital products

Education (or equivalent work experience)

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related function
