Title: SAP Solution Architect- 83131

Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As an SAP Solution Architect for Dealer Solutions and Order Management Architecturelocated in Moline or Chicago,Illinois, you will.

  • Architect solutions that will enable John Deere dealers to run their daily operations as efficiently as possible, focusing on capabilities in order fulfillment.

  • Partner closely with product management and engineering, maintaining a deep understanding of the organization's vision, intent, and roadmap for their digital products.

  • Collaborate closely with agile teams to ensure that effective technology solutions are built.

  • Execute proof-of-concept activities to validate technologies for a given purpose; work closely with product managers and stakeholders to ensure desired capabilities are met.

  • Act as a technology leader, providing technical assistance, guidance, and guardrails for all technologies across multiple product teams.

What Skills You Need

  • 4-7 years of experience working withcustom-built and purchased commercial-off-the-shelf systems

  • 4-7 years of experience in order fulfillment and/or quote-to-cash business processes.

  • 4-7 years of experience working with applications, data, infrastructure, and/or IT security

  • Demonstrated use of architecture principles and practices when making decisions and creating/designing solutions and associated work products.

  • Critical thinking skills, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to model and communicate complex concepts in both written and verbal communication.

  • Experience influencing without authority, communicating up, down, and across a large organization.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation.

  • Experience working with products and teams that require a heavy degree of integration.

  • Full stack analysis and troubleshooting experience, particularly in complex IT environments.

  • Software design and development experience, particularly in modern web applications and cloud native services. Front-end experience would also be a value-add.

  • SAP configuration, development, or Basis experience, or equivalent experience in a different ERP platform.

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and/or SAP Business Technology Platform.

  • Experience with modelling languages (such as UML or FMC), technical writing, decision analysis techniques, or exposure to Enterprise Architecture practices.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment - understands planning cycles and architecture's role in delivering solutions.


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
