Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer for John Deere Information Systems (JDIS) located inChicago, IL orEast Moline, IL, you will

  • Lead and deliver the Quality, Performance and Scalability needs of the EQUIP Product;

  • lead and help improve the development process and support the agile/scrum delivery process

  • Lead the PB SMEs group and perform SME role; lead and perform EQUIP Tier 3 support

  • Lead work with various team/members to help solve EQUIP performance issues

  • Oversee the Technical EQUIP release management, environment management and configuration management (version control);

  • Provide development and support for various EQUIP System Interfaces.

What Skills You Need

  • 5+ years of experience developingand testingthe front and back end of the EQUIP application using PowerBuilder and SQL.

  • 3+ years of experience developingbackend of applications using Microsoft .NET

  • 3+ years of writingand peer review implementation, system level & code level design documents using GitHub

  • 3+ years of experienceimplementinga CI pipeline that runs automated jobs to verify code

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Working knowledge of Agile Operating Model

  • Able to coach and train junior team members

  • Nice to have Dealer Business Systems experience


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
