Overview & Responsibilities
As Software Engineer, you will become a part of a professional and diverse team working in a collaborative work environment that fosters creativity and innovation where people from all backgrounds get together to do their lifes best work. In this role, you will design, build and deliver software solutions following industry standards and practices.
Operate within a full-stack agile team and participate in all aspects of teams work of building out John Deeres eCommerce applications and ensuring delivery adheres to the proposed architecture
Ensure high-quality software through adherence to Test Driven Development (TDD) as the foundation of development and enabling CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
Provide Technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members within the product space
Utilize your understanding of Cloud Computing, Analytics, and Integration patterns to leverage while creating a data-driven andscalable environment that is robust enough tosupport eCommerce
What Skills You Need
3+ years of experience with designing, developing, testing, and integrating solutions with a focus on Java eCommerce solutions
Track record of leveraging change management principles throughout the entirety of the SDLC
Robust knowledge of application development environments, including the capabilities and constraints of databases, data management, and infrastructure
2+ years of experience with leveraging DevSecOps and Lean development principles forContinuous Integration and Continuous Delivery via Jenkins, GitHub & GitHub Action
2+ years of Test-Driven-Development (TDD), Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), and emerging design expertise
Experience leading a team focused on full-stack design patternsand knowledge of designing loosely coupled architectures insidecloud environments
