Your Position:

MAJOR PURPOSE:

Develops parts and service sales and management abilities witha specific group of key dealers to meet sales objectives, ensuring profitable aftermarket operations.

MAJOR DUTIES:

  • Supports the field managers to establish and manage parts and service plans and tactics for a specific group of key dealers to ensure parts and service sales goals are achieved.

  • Work with a specific group of key dealers to develop and execute territory tactics in conjunction with the Territory Manager to enhance dealership parts, service and attachment capacity and profitability.

  • Analysis of key dealer Aftermarket performance to ensure optimal participation in sales programs and processes. Provide recommendations to JDL sales managers and dealership managers about parts performance.

  • Develops, delivers and participates in Aftermarket promotional plans, product introductions, dealer/customer product information meetings, demonstrations and trade shows. Provide insight and knowledge to support key marketing activities.

  • Coach Field Team and key dealers in the optimal utilisation of parts and service tools, best practice processes, products and concepts.

  • Assists key dealers in promoting parts, service and attachment products and concepts by leveraging existing marketing and support material.

  • Monitors competitive activities, provides feedback to tactical marketing and divisional managersand solutions to convert competitive parts lines in the designated territory.

  • Provides management and leadership with sales reporting for monthly operational meetings and facilitates a monthly sales performance meeting with the samegroup

  • Specialised skills, knowledge and abilities needed to perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Knowledge of market(s) distribution channels and customers.

  • Demonstrated sales and marketingskills.

  • Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

  • Knowledge of products and services offered by the appropriate area of responsibility.

  • The ability to use analytical and reporting skills to drive beneficial outcomes

Work Experiences:

  • Type and amount of experience necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. May include specific roles and/or an understanding of a particular function,organization, industry or product line.

  • Experience in a position working with Dealers.

  • Sales/marketing management experience.

  • Marketing experience.

Education:

Formal education or training required to perform the essential functions of the job, Includes degrees, certifications, licenses and/or registration requirements.

  • Degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Degree in an Agricultural Sciences discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Degree in a Marketing discipline or equivalent experience.
