Title: Machine Support Specialist

Primary Location: Australia (AU)- QLD- Crestmead

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivatedMachine Support Specialist

Develop in-depth technical knowledge of John Deere Ag & Turf equipment and provide timely responses to Dealer Technical Assistance Center (DTAC) cases.

Collect and analyse data from different sources (DTAC, machine telematics data, warranty, customer surveys, etc.) to support the problem resolution/corrective action process and develop reporting tools to communicate machine insights to factory and field stakeholders.

Combine practical experience with machine telematics data and analytics to develop dealer alerts that help predict, prevent, and resolve machine issues and reduce dealer diagnostic time.

Travel to customer and/or dealer locations to investigate product issues and provide resolution to in-field problems.

Lead and participate in collaborative training events to improve individual and team knowledge levels.

About You

With a knowledge ofagricultural and/or heavy equipment technology, you are an energetic self-starter who is an excellent team player who takes pride in their work and their working environment.

What Skills You Need

Ability to read and comprehend technical schematics, theory of operation, and diagnostic procedures.

Professional communication skills, both written and oral.

Commitment to paying attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with metric driven results.

What Makes You Stand Out

Being an excellent communicator, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment

Experience with diagnosing Electrical, Hydraulic, and Mechanical systems found on off-road equipment.

Experience working with CAN Communication Systems on vehicles.

Knowledge of agricultural and/or heavy equipment service operations.

Product knowledge and functional experience with John Deere equipment.

Education / Experience:

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technology, or other related fields.
