The role of the Supply Chain Specialist is to provide comprehensive support to the dealer network and branch relating to Customer Service, Order Management and Logistics functions across both Agriculture & Turf, Construction & Forestry divisions. Primary focus is to meet Delivery in Full on Time (DIOFT) targets and provide a high level of customer support to our dealer network.
Provides comprehensive support to the dealer network regarding all aspects of the Order Management process. Point of order through to delivery of product.
Resolves questions/problems related to Complete Goods order acceptance and or maintenance.
Leads the communication and resolution of transport delays to internal and external parties.
Maintains, analyses and processes complex invoicing requirements.
Manages, administers and supports the branch consignment processes.
Establishes and delivers dealer training material specific to Order Management processes and policies.
Ensures adherence to all Order Management policies and procedures.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and participates in special projects or additional duties as assigned.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
Previous experience and sound skills in SAP operating environment
Specialised skills, knowledge and abilities needed to perform the essential functions of the job.
Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office plus intranet and internet functions.
Ability to interpret Data to make decisions
Knowledge of dealers and other channels.
Understanding of Order Fulfillment Process.
Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Understands process planning and material replenishment requirements.
High level of communication and engagement verbal and written
Relevant work experiences:
Type and amount of experience necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. May include specific roles and/or an understanding of a particular function, organization, industry or product line.
Experience working in customer service or related customer-oriented environment.
Experience in using Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and other Microsoft tools.
Experience in a broad range of marketing and sales related job functions especially centered around channel management.
Formal education or training required to perform the essential functions of the job. Includes degrees, certifications, licenses and/or registration requirements.
Degree in a Business/Management/Marketing discipline or equivalent experience.
Degree in a Supply Management discipline or equivalent experience
Degree in an Accounting/Finance discipline or equivalent experience
