Function: Supply Management / Logistics

Title: Part Time Student - Supply Mgmt - Davenport, IA - 48760

Your Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will support the material acquisition team while working collaboratively with our direct material business partners to track and execute resourcing activities throughout the supply base.

  • This assignment will require you to interact with groups throughout the business including Supply Management, Quality Engineering and Design Engineering to ensure projects are on track to meet the expected timelines.

  • The assignments, resourcing projects, and process improvement projects will address specific business issues and will enable you to make a direct impact to the operation..

What It Takes

  • Ability to gather and analyze data and make recommendations based on findings

  • Skill in interpersonal communications and conflict resolution

  • Proficient in using MS Office programs

  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university

  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis

  • Pursuing a four-year degree in Supply Chain Management or similar focus. May also consider Business or Engineering degrees with interest in Supply Chain Management.

  • Graduation date of May 2020 or later

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

  • 16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year

  • 35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester

A strong candidate will also have

  • Knowledge of supply management, manufacturing, quality processes
