Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position

Your Responsibilities

As an Engineer, Crawler Engine/Cooling at John Deere, Dubuque, IA you will lead continuous improvement projects for Crawler Dozers to improve cost, reliability and quality of engine and cooling systems and components. In addition, you will...

  • Perform warranty claim and root cause analysis

  • Develop, evaluate, and implement design solutions

  • Collaborate with other functional areas, including supply management, manufacturing, marketing, product support, and quality to meet product needs and work with suppliers where appropriate.

    Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.

What Skills You Need

  • Design, analysis, or testing experience (through practical work experience, internships or educational coursework/projects)

  • Basic understanding of gas or diesel engines

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Experience working in a team environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Gas or diesel engine experience

  • Agricultural and/or Construction off-road vehicle experience

  • Experience with 3D modeling tools (such as: Pro/E, Solidworks, AutoCAD)

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree.
