Onsite/Remote: Remote Position

This position may be located in Dubuque, IA or Davenport, IA or 100% remote from any United States location per the hiring manager's discretion. This may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.

Your Responsibilities

As a Precision Construction Machine Support Specialist for the Construction and Forestry division you will….

  • Provide technical assistance to dealers to resolve customer issues with Precision Construction solutions (example SmartGrade™) – occasionally on holidays and/or after 5pm Central

  • Assist internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, engineering) to resolve Precision Construction solution related issues occurring in the field and/or during product development

  • Develop a broad knowledge of industry grade control and grade management technologies and practices to best support our dealers and customers

  • Support ideation of innovative concepts that will improve uptime and customer experience with future Precision Construction solutions

What Skills You Need

  • 1 or more years of experience diagnosing and troubleshooting technical machine issues

  • Demonstrated experience and familiarity with SmartGrade™ and/or other machine control technologies

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and PowerPoint

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience supporting dealers in resolving complex machine issues

  • Demonstrated experience with industry grade control and grade management technologies and practices

  • Familiarity using the Case and Contact Management System (CCMS)

  • Experience in design and development of SmartGrade™ and/or other machine control technologies

  • Analytic experience/background

  • Fluency in Spanish as a second language


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Engineering, Industrial Technology, or other technical field of study
