Function: Product Engineering

Title: Engineer - 50146

Your Responsibilities

As an Engineer for Harvester Works, located in East Moline, this position will be part of the System Level PV&V team, with an emphasis on data, automation, and technology development. In addition, you will:

  • Develop and execute system level validation test plans for new technology projects on combines

  • Develop and execute field validation & verification test plans on automation features within new product programs

  • Gather, interpret, and report on data collected from field machines

  • Act as site lead within field test sites, insuring correct prioritization of test plans and resources

What Skills You Need

  • Experience working with mechanical, electrical or agricultural systems

  • Experience with analyzing engineering data

  • Vehicle or component test experience

What Makes You Stand Out

Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team

include:

  • Experience working with instrumentation and data collection systems such as eDAQ, nCode, and CAN bus communication protocols

  • Agricultural or farm background

  • Experience with John Deere Harvesting equipment

Education (or equivalent work experience)

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Electrical Engineering
