Title: Engineering Manager - 58786
As an Engineering Manager for John Deere in East Moline, IL, you will provide critical input into major technology decisions (e.g., upgrade decisions, major architectural decisions, establishment of coding standards) within the standards defined by relevant center of excellence groups and in alignment with the needs and priorities of the business. In addition, you will;
Support the Group Engineering Manager and the business and acts as a servant leader to their product team(s) – with specific responsibility for Expert Services web & mobile applications, Service Delivery and Transportation Management engineering teams & suppliers
Ensure adherence to technical standards that will promote security, quality, delivery and cost effectiveness
Ensure scrum teams align their efforts to the needs of the business and work within the framework of overall IT strategy
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of broader portion of the stack end-to-end (user applications - underlying infrastructure)
Manage multiple scrum teams and solve problems requiring significant creative, analytical and conceptual thinking

What Skills You Need
5+ years of experience working in an Engineering Manager, IT Team Lead, IT Architect or similar role
5+ years of experience in SW Engineering technologies
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Demonstrated servant leadership capabilities
Experience managing technical team members

Education (or equivalent work experience)
