As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Software Developer in the John Deere Dealer Business System program, you will get a unique opportunity to work on a large-scale global application in a Fortune 500 company that is regularly ranked among the best companies to work for in the country. The person filling this position will not be expected to be an expert in all technologies on day one but should come with a strong desire to learn and grow.
Major duties include:
Convert business requirements into high-quality solutions with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain, and Commerce platform (formerly Finance & Operations)
Provide software development and configuration solutions
Communicate with relevant stakeholders to continually demonstrate, refine, and improve our products
Operate within an Agile/Scrum team and participate in team Scrum events
Work alongside with Deere Product Owner and 3rd-party functional consultants to develop a deep understanding of the constantly evolving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain, and Commerce platform
What Skills You Need
2+ years of Dynamics AX, D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) development experience
Experience working with software test automation techniques (Test Driven Development) and Unit Test Frameworks
Ability to analyze, translate, and define business requirements into technical solutions
Understanding of ERP tools and related business processes
Proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment
Ability to analyze and solve complex application problems
What Makes You Stand Out
Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer (MB-500) certification or equivalent experience strongly desired
X++ development using extensions and custom service development in X++ is preferred
Previous experience with C# and/or .NET framework is strongly desired
Appetite for continuous learning and willingness/dedication to develop deep technical skills needed to further develop, transform, and modernize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain, and/or Commerce products, processes, and solutions
Experience working with John Deere dealers in the areas such as finance, parts, equipment sales, or equipment rental
Capable of collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solution
Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in a related career field
