Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois (US-IL) - East Moline

Function: Supply Management / Logistics

Title: Part Time Student - Supply Management - East Moline, IL - 47598

Your Responsibilities

  • Daily attention to queue of requests - review requests for parts for completeness, create requests for quotes, award the business and create purchase orders

  • Monitor open deliveries and solicit shipment confirmation/tracking information

  • Monitor outbound scheduled shipments for 100% fill of parts prior to ship date

  • Evaluate and influence build readiness by monitoring part design release, order placement, sourcing, delivery and shipment

What It Takes

  • Experience in team environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Comfortable with fast pace of work

  • Desire to learn

  • Communication skills - written and oral

  • Pursuing a four-year degree in Supply Management, Engineering, Business or equivalent

  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local university

  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis

  • Graduation date of May 2020 or later

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above

  • 16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year

  • 35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester

A strong candidate will also have

  • Manufacturing/commodity knowledge

  • Technical experience - welding, laser/bend, casting, hydraulics, plastics, or electrical

  • Ability to read a print reading - GD&T
