Title: Software Engineer - 66123
As a Software Engineer for John Deere Information Systems located in Moline, IL, you will work with product owners to create and refine backlog items. In addition, you will:
Analyze assignments and determine software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives and get appropriate value from packaged solutions
Complete system configuration and/or software development needed to achieve desired business outcomes
Create automated test scripts and execute tests
May provide work direction for other team members to complete testing tasks
Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation
Mentor more junior analysts on the team in specific software packages such as Microsoft Dynamics Field Service, Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Management
Lead software-specific technical practices in partnership with the Engineering Manager

Proven Technical Skills and Experiences
4 or more years of understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
5 or more years of software development experience developing solutions using: the Microsoft Dynamics Platform
2 or more years of experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions in Java web development with Sprint and Restful APIs leveraging change management
1 or more years of proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment
1 or more years of deep experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
1 or more years of working understanding of full-stack design patterns and designing loosely coupled architectures
2 or more years of experience working with Test Driven Development and Unit Test Frameworks
Interpersonal, Leadership and Teaming Competencies
Proven experience as working in a team environment
Capable of collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solution
Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
Education (or equivalent work experience)
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering/Technology or equivalent experience in a related career field
Preferred certifications: Microsoft Dynamics Certifications (Dynamics 365 Sales or Field Service Functional Consultant Associate), Microsoft Azure Certifications (AZ-203 or AZ-204)
