Title: Sr. Software Engineer - Microsoft Power Platform - 70291
As a Sr. Software Engineer on a Power Platform team, you will help innovate, build, and maintain robust low-code integrative solutions for the John Deere Dealer Business System program . You will have the unique opportunity of working on large-scale global applications for a Fortune 500 company that is regularly ranked among the best companies to work for in the country. Additionally, we are seeking a candidate with strong foundational knowledge with a desire to learn and grow your skills alongside your teammates. Major duties include:
Convert business requirements into visually appealing and highly functional integrative applications
Communicate with relevant stakeholders to continually demonstrate, refine, and improve product offering
Collaborate, engage, and inspire team to identify areas of opportunity for continual innovation
Create and maintain necessary documentation, as directed, or needed
Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation
Participate in team Scrum events (e.g., daily stand-up, refinement, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint demos)
Mentor other software engineers on the team

What Skills You Need
4 or more years of experience building Power Platform business solutions such as Power Apps and Power Automate
5 or more years of software development experience in a .NET language
3 or more years working in an Agile software environment
Proven experience analyzing, translating, and refining business requirements into technical solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication forms with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation
Problem solving with an open and innovative mindset
What Makes You Stand Out
Proven experience or Microsoft certification in Power Platform development or architecture
Proven experience developing integrative applications for Microsoft Dynamics (ERP and/or CRM)
Prior experience and working knowledge of Azure development including Function and Logic apps
Prior experience and working knowledge of the Common Data Model in conjunction with Dataverse (formerly CDS)
Experience working with John Deere dealers in such areas as finance, parts, equipment sales, or equipment rental
Experience and functional understanding of ERP, CRM, and related systems
Experience working with and integrating to SharePoint data sources
Prior UI/UX design experience
Capable of collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solution
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
