Title: Technology Solutions Architect - 48035

Your Responsibilities

As a Technology Solutions Architect for John Deere Information Systems (JDIS) located in East Moline, IL, you will serve as the EQUIP and JDO Solutions Architect with an emphasis on Security. In addition, you will:

  • Consult on the design and implementation of application integrations, technical architecture, and database design

  • Work closely with EQUIP and JDO Tech Leads throughout the design, build, and implementation of solutions

  • Serve as the Product Owner for EQUIP and JDO integrations, maintaining interface specification documentation and collaborating with other John Deere and vendor applications to provide effective solutions for the dealer

  • Create integration roadmap and maintains backlog of user stories to accomplish planned integrations

  • Work with Channel and enterprise architects to find and resolve functional gaps in the Information Technology (IT) Architecture incorporating Security by Design principles

  • Assist in gaining alignment with Global IT and business leaders associated with cross domain initiatives in the process of delivering solutions and services involving EQUIP and JDO

  • Assist EQUIP Product Managers in building a roadmap that incorporates key technology and hosting initiatives

  • Experience in applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints

  • Experience planning, managing and delivering large and complex distributed applications

  • Understanding of Security principles and ability to design new as well as modify existing solutions to improve our security posture

  • Understanding of diverse infrastructure components, operating systems and hosting environments as well as the ability to troubleshoot across all of them

  • Understanding of Agile methodology with the ability to teach others

  • Understanding of computer technology, methodology, and full life-cycle development

  • Ability to lead and execute product roadmaps

  • Strong communications skills

What Makes You Stand Out

Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:

  • Experience with on premise and cloud based (AWS and Azure) hosting solutions

  • Experience prioritizing software deliverables with inputs from multiple competing sources

  • Experience with large and complex application integrations (APIs, Web Services, etc)

  • Experience with the dealer channel

  • Technical background in application development

Education (or equivalent work experience)

  • Bachelor's degree Information Technology
