Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position
As a Embedded Software Engineer for the Embedded Operating Systems Team within ISG Tech Stack, Embedded Infrastructure located in one of the following locations including Urbandale IA, Moline IL, Cary NC, Fargo ND you will
Develop and test high quality software features embedded controllers within the core operating systems group
Lead investigations of embedded software issues to find true root cause and provide sustainable software solutions
Collaborate with system engineers and software architects to help define feature requirements and system designs
Pair with individuals on an Agile scrum team to develop software features using a world class design process and tool chain

What Skills You Need
Academic or Professional experience in embedded software product development with C/C++ programming
Knowledge in troubleshooting embedded software issues
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability and willingness to work in a diverse team environment, helping others on the team succeed
Experience with Model Based Software Development (MBSD) using Matlab/Simulink
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with CAN and LIN communication protocols
Experience with embedded software continuous integration practices and tools
Ability to work with cross functional stakeholders (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, product design, marketing, etc) to understand customer requirements and how those can be translated into software requirements and implementations
Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and willingness to keep growing skills to contribute to an evolving team
Focus and passion for developing innovative technical solutions to solve customer problems
Background with John Deere products, farming practices and/or farm equipment operation
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other engineering related field
