Title: Manager, HR Operations - 43144

Your Responsibilities

As a Manager, HR Operations for John Deere in Fargo, ND you will manage and lead the human resource operations (including Communications) for the JDES organization (includes multiple locations in Fargo, ND). In addition, you will

  • Be the primary HR contact for business/functional leaders.

  • Provide support and advice to meet the strategic needs of the business.

  • Ensure consistent and seamless support, compliance, and delivery of human resource strategy, policy, processes, and service standards across area of responsibility.

  • Communicate and assist business leaders in understanding and deploying HR initiatives.

  • Supervise one HR Representative and one part-time student.

  • Be the dotted line/matrix manager for a Communication Specialist.

  • Be responsible for HR/Communications budget.

What Skills You Need

  • 3 or more years of experience with HR principles, concepts, and knowledge

  • 3 or more years of HR Operations experience

  • Solid analytical, problem-solving experience

  • Communications (listening, speaking, writing) experience

  • Ability to influence

  • Capability to learn quickly and work independently

  • Experience working collaboratively in a team, and building/establishing rapport quickly with others

  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment

  • Negotiation skills and experience

  • Proficient experience in basic Microsoft tools

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Knowledge of SAP HR and HR processes

  • Previous work experience in an HR Process role and having an established, broad HR network

  • Previous supervisory or management experience

  • HR certification

Education (or equivalent work experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, and/or Management
