Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position
As a (Software Design Engineer) for (ISG-Fargo) located in (Fargo, North Dakota), you will….
Implement software test infrastructure to ensure all software requirements are verified by the release date.
Create new Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups as needed. Procure and setup all necessary equipment and create test infrastructure as required.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to debug hardware and software test failures.
Mentor and train less experienced team members and stakeholders.
What Skills You Need
2 or more years of experience with Python scripting.
2 or more years of experience working with customers/stakeholders to meet requirements.
2 or more years of experience working in an Agile environment.
Understanding of automated deployable solutions (continuous integration).
Understanding of C and other programming languages.
Understanding of development and debugging tools (source level debuggers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
What Makes You Stand Out
Product development understanding.
Understanding of other programming languages (Java, C#, etc.)
Understanding of embedded software development.
Understanding of microcontrollers peripherals and systems (PWM outputs, A-to-D converters, watchdog timers, serial and parallel interface, etc.)
Understanding of communication networks (e.g. CAN, Ethernet, LIN).
Understanding of communication protocols (e.g. J1939, ISO11783, UDS, TCP/IP).
Knowledge of agricultural equipment and customer use.
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree
