This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As a Software Product Owner for John Deere - ISG located in Fargo, ND , you will….
Support new project requests by leading early concept development activities
Review architecture and requirements documentation for product development
Align the team development schedule with stakeholder milestones
Align with other software scrum teams within the Automation, Connectivity, and Displays module group

What Skills You Need
Experience in embedded software development
Experience in C or other programming languages
Expertise with Agile Software development methods
Effective written and verbal communication skills (English)
Expertise in employing rigorous process measures to ensure product quality
Understanding of Real-Time Operating System concepts, Linux Kernel, UBoot, and driver development
Skilled with microcontroller peripherals and systems (e.g. PWM outputs, boot loaders, A/D converters, watchdog timers, interrupt and trap functions, serial and parallel interfaces, etc.)
Skilled with development and debugging tools (e.g. source level debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters, etc.)
Understanding of compilers, linkers and locators
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with embedded software development utilizing a Linux Operating System
Experience with high speed and wireless communication networks (e.g. Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth, Wifi, etc.)
Skilled in managing multiple product lines, configuration management strategies, and variant management
Experience leading teams and facilitating interpersonal communications and conflict resolution
Experience with formal requirements tracking tools
Experience with Yocto Project or Ubuntu
Experience employing systems engineering methods on a complex display or telematics program
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Minimum B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited engineering program.
