Function: Accounting / Finance
Title: Part-Time Student-Accounting-Fargo ND - 74180
The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.
General accounting and auditing activities including accounts receivable/payable processing
Daily accounting activities that occur at a manufacturing facility including month end closing processes, month end reconciliations, etc
Special project assignments such as special account analysis, SOX testing internal controls and internal audit testing to meet corporate and SOX compliance requirements
Assist with Travel and Expense report auditing
What It Takes
Majoring in Accounting preferred; others may apply
Must be a full-time student at an accredited university
Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
Graduation date of May 2023 or later
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
16 - 20 hours/week during the academic year
35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester
Strong organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Two years of university courses that include accounting principles courses
A Strong Candidate Will Also Have
Experience working with spreadsheets & Microsoft Excel
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
