Primary Location: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León (MX-NLE) - Garza Garcia

o This position will be working at the Mexico Engineering Center, assigned to a design team.
o He/she will be responsible for Hardware Design and CIs at product level for Deere Products.
o Work closely with external suppliers to procure components that meet the product specification
o Conduct design reviews for the component and subsystem.
o Work directly with Supply Management, Quality, Product Verification & Validation and Continuous Improvement teams.
o Support root cause analysis on warranty returned parts.
What Skills You Need:
o 1+ years of work experience in Hardware Development and Electronics (Analog and Digital ).
o Experience working with external suppliers to procure new technologies that meet product/systems specifications.
o Knowledge of the Six Sigma and root cause analysis tools.
o Technical experience relating to the design and diagnostics of electrical systems and components.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
o Strong English skills, speaking and writing.
o Strong drive by results.
What Makes You Stand Out:
o Advanced Engineering Degree.
o Experience using Six sigma and root cause analysis tools for the analysis of electrical component failures.
o Knowledge of manufacturing processes that are used for electrical components.
o Knowledge simulation tools (Spice, Matlab, Magnetism, etc)
o Knowledge of CAN communications.
o Familiar with PDM/Windchill.
o Familiar with cProjects
Education (or equivalent experience):
o B.S. Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Digital Systems and Robotics Engineering or similar.
