Title: Infrastructure Analyst

Primary Location: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León (MX-NLE) - Garza Garcia

Function: Information Technology

Main Responsibilities:

*Support, evaluate, and improve services and infrastructure associated with the John Deere global data network. Support consists of but is not limited to the design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, tuning and maintenance of LAN/WLAN/WAN components in accordance with prescribed problem and change management policies.

*Continuously improve associated network management processes and tools to maintain alignment with organizational initiatives and strategic goals.

*Maintain a collaborative relationship with suppliers, customers, team members, and cross-domain business partners to achieve business outcomes.

*Availability to participate as a member of the 24x7 on-call rotation staff.

What Skills You Need:

*Experience with IP sub-netting, switching, and routing.

*Hands-on experience with Cisco LAN/WAN network infrastructure.

*Hands-on experience with LWAPP/CAPWAP.

*Working knowledge of routing protocols; EIGRP, BGP, OSPF.

*Three + years of relevant IT experience.

*Ability to fully participate and contribute to a strong, supportive team environment.

*Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

*Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Availability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.

What Makes You Stand Out:

*Experience developing in Python.

*Cisco Embedded Event Manager (EEM).

*IT Automation (i.e Puppet, Chef, Ansible ).

*Experience in troubleshooting, design, evaluation and documentation of large scale networks.

*Experience in network and/or application security design, assessment and/or support.

*Network management experience including NMIS, Cisco Prime, Cisco WCS, Checkpoint Security Management Systems, etc.

*Working knowledge of WAN protocols and telecommunications services.

*Wireless handheld devices and autonomous wireless solutions.

Education (or equivalent experience):

  • Degree in Computer Science, other Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience.
