Title: Design Engineer
Primary Location: México (MX) - Nuevo León JD Shared Svcs-Monterrey
Function: Product Engineering
Lead design activities for the product development cycle, from concept development through virtual and physical build, testing and implementation.
Proficiently use CAD tools to create 3D models and prints for engine components.
Collaborate with others to solve design issues to meet our performance, quality, manufacturability, and cost goals.
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to manufacturing, quality, production, and supply management teams to ensure product requirements are met.
Create and maintain BOM structures and lead part workflow through the system.
What Skills You Need:
Strong mechanical engineering skills
Understanding of FEA analysis.
Experience with CREO or other CAD software
Effective Communication skills
Strong problem solving and analytic skills
Proactivity and drive for results
Fluent in English.
What Makes You Stand Out:
1-2 years of experience on design engineering work.
Skilled user of Creo Modelling, Drafting, Surfacing, Large Assembly Management, and PDM Windchill.
Basic knowledge of dynamic and static simulations
Awareness of 6 sigma tools and technology is an added advantage.
Education (or equivalent experience):
BE Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, Aeronautic engineering, or equivalent experience.
