Primary Location: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León JD Shared Svcs-Monterrey
Function: Product Engineering
Develop reusable, testable and maintainable modules, Tools based on C++/MFC & Python
Providing Support to user
Handling and Maintaining Tools Support Inbox according to Tools Support Process
Creating documentation as user’s guides, best practices and FAQ’s
Identifying the problem, possible causes
Developing possible solutions
Choosing and executing best solutions
Maintaining consistent result
Contribute to code quality, best standards and task automation
Improving user experience for developed Tools
Maintaining Project Health on Jenkins.
What Skills You Need:
Knowledge of Microsoft Foundation Class Library and Visual Studio, General programming knowledge and understanding of C++/MFC & Python
Good understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) and design patterns
Hands-on experience creating reusable libraries in C++/MFC , Good Experience of Linux OS
Ability and willingness to learn new things
Good Experience on GitHub, Knowledge on Jenkins automation tool for Continuous Integration and testing projects
Experience in communication protocols like J1939 CAN, LIN, UDS, Ethernet will be added advantage
Other supporting technologies C#, WinForms, WPF, Microsoft blend, AWS, Json, html, Java script, C, HTML5, Squish, ECU Test Tool, CAN Protocol, AUTOSAR, Vector tools and Linux would be added advantage
What Makes You Stand Out:
Experience on desktop or other software using C/C++, C# and QT.
Experience on desktop or other software tools to support embedded controls development.
Experience on environments for automated software builds and testing such as Jenkins.
Strong Object-Oriented programming and design patterns skills.
Strong knowledge on Agile methodologies or certified.
Understanding of engineering principles as they relate to the company product
Education (or equivalent experience):
Minimum B.S. degree in any of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Digital Systems and Robotics, Computer Science or Advanced Engineering Degree.
