Main Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on development as part of an agile team dedicated to the design and development of data collection solutions.
Generation and delivery of software for embedded devices.
Translate higher level requirements in code-based solutions.
Engage in technical design and review conversations in English with stakeholders and team members daily.
Collaborate in cross-country development efforts and continuous improvement actions to resolve field and experimental software defects.
Participate in Agile planning ceremonies.
What Skills You Need:
Good written and verbal communication skills (English, highly technical conversations daily).
Good knowledge on Object Oriented Programming languages.
Knowledge of microcontrollers and Embedded programming.
Knowledge of Linux Operating System.
Knowledge on version control systems such as GIT.
Good knowledge on Data Structures and Algorithms.
Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, etc.).
Experience with Mobile Application Development.
Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and willingness to keep growing skills to contribute to an evolving team.
Experience developing Linux/Windows software applications.
What Makes You Stand Out:
Strong Object-Oriented programming and design patterns skills.
Technical expertise related to UX/UI design and development.
Familiar with Agile methodologies or certified.
Knowledge on communication networks (e.g., CAN, I2C, Ethernet, Protobuf).
Education:
- Minimum B.S. degree in any of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Digital Systems and Robotics, Computer Science or Advanced Engineering Degree.
