Title: Technical Information Specialist-89387
As a Technical Information Specialist for the Enterprise Technical Information Development (ETID) organization, i n Horicon, Wisconsin; you will provide technical leadership in the development of publications including operators manuals, onscreen help, instructions, repair manuals, and diagnostic manuals for Turf & Utility products to deliver effective, high-quality technical information enabling distinctive uptime experience for our customers. In addition, you will:
Lead and support innovation projects supporting standards, automation, machine learning, and advanced diagnostic solutions.
Work in partnership with product engineering, customer support planning, and customer support engineering to identify and define solutions improving technician efficiency and customer uptime.
Gather project requirements through collaboration with engineering and other key stakeholders (Tech Info Project Leader, Training Development Specialist, Customer Support Readiness).
Lead, develop, and support technical publications projects by scoping, creating, and facilitating content development with global resources meeting schedule, quality, and cost expectations.
Encourage and support high levels of communication, collaboration, and development across stakeholder groups including global authoring and aftermarket & customer support teams.
Provide support and guidance to global authoring resources to ensure content is adhering to quality standards

Basic knowledge of engineering principles, theory, and practice.
Experience with design or troubleshooting of components and systems.

Experience using engineering software or tools such as Creo Parametric/View (CAD), Windchill, Capital Harness, Automation Studios, SAP
Previous work experience in one or more of the following: technical authoring, technical training, field service support, manufacturing quality, or an engineering discipline.
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent related work experience (Turf sciences, Ag sciences, Technical Information, Engineering, Business, or Marketing)
