Title: IT Business Analyst - 69703
In collaboration with your customers and teammates, directly support the advancement of the Smart Connected Warehouse (SCW) initiative at John Deere –driving transformational change to Warehouse Management solutions and processes via new and advanced capabilities-- by configuring and testing systems in support of the global design and local layout and functional requirements. In addition;
Responsible for configuration [initial definition and maintenance] of Warehouse Management processes; directly configuring the Manhattan WMS to meet the global design - by function, performance, and user-experience.
Actively supports the development of automated testing and support/training documentation while directly participating in UAT (User Acceptance Testing), end-to-end testing, formal cycle-testing, go-live support, and end-user-training.
Works closely with Operations and Engineering leads world-wide responsible for WM processes (Deere and 3P) throughout all phases of the Smart Connected Warehouse global implementation to ensure delivery of common solutions of optimal performance [including identifying and mitigating risks] within the Parts/A&CS division.
Collaborates with others cross-functionally in support of process definition and testing as well as production support.
Delivers solutions via Agile processes and tooling; supporting the Product Owner and team.
Experience working within Operations and/or Engineering function
Strong communications and collaboration skills
Experience identifying and implementing process improvements focused on quality and/or productivity with measurable results
Operations experience. – 2+ years
Engineering experience. – 2+ years
Systems Configuration experience (no formal IT development responsibilities or experience required)
Knowledge of Parts operations systems, processes, tools, and data.
Cross-functional understanding of Parts processes with depth in Operations
Experience with SQL, SAS, and/or Python for data analysis
Experience Training personnel (processes, best practices)
Experience developing and/or interpreting process maps. (Example: Visio)
Knowledge of or experience executing Agile delivery
Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
Degree in Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
Degree in Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
