Título: Senior Software Engineer - Indaiatuba/SP - 110889

As a SR Software Engineer for our Labor Relations Solutions team at John Deere, you will have the opportunity to work cross global applications over IT LR products to sustain and enhance a diverse set of applications, own processes and servers, serve business and the team, implement global solutions and support local business needs, and coaching other team members on technicalities.

Main Responsabilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Python and/or Javascript Node/React JS;

• Participate in the design and implementation of scalable and highly available distributed systems;

• Collaborate in the use of AWS cloud services for the development and implementation of solutions;

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of unit, integration and end-to-end (e2e) tests to ensure software quality;

• Assist in the implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines;

• Use Infrastructure as Code (IAC);

• Participate in the implementation of observability practices using NewRelic and Open Telemetry for performance monitoring and analysis;

• Work together with the team to promote good development and innovation practices.

What Skills You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology discipline;

• Fluent English: advanced writing/speaking skills for coordinating meetings, negotiating with suppliers and leading teams;

• Experience as a Software Engineer;

• Experience with Java and/or Python, or interested to learn if you don't have both;

• Experience with JavaScript, Node/React or similar;

• Solid experience working with Cloud, AWS preferred;

• Solid experience working with Databases like SQL syntax, SQL Server, Oracle DB, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQL;

• Solid communication skills, with the ability to excel on a cross-functional team;

• Solid Experience working on Agile Teams.

• Solid Experience working with Data Lake, DevOps, and/or CICD pipelines;

• Solid Experience integrating systems, designing and coding APIs;

• Solid Experience with Javascript modern libraries React, Angular, BootStrap;

• Solid Experience with automation & data analytics;

• Solid Experience with automated tests, complex pipelines and best programming practices.
