Deere & Company is seeking a Software Engineer in Johnston, IA with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or foreign academic equivalent plus 4 years related experience. Prior experience must include: experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions leveraging change management processes (4 yrs); experience designing and developing service-based architecture and/or micro-services (3 yrs); experience designing data caching and persistence concepts using both SQL and NoSQL DBMS (for example: MySQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, etc.) (3 yrs); experience leveraging DevOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery/Deployment using tools like Git, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy etc. (3 yrs); experience with infrastructure as code and working knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, Elastic Container Service, Elastic Kubernetes Service, API Gateway, etc. (2 yrs).
