Title: Database DevOps Engineer- 77084

This position is fully remote.

Your Responsibilities

As a Database DevOps Engineerfor John Deere Financial ( , you will be an invaluable member of our multiplatform database product team who develops database infrastructure as code. Moreover, you will be responsible forsupporting product John Deere Financial's designprojects through writing and testing database code, work planning, and coordinating with teammates.

What Skills You Need

  • 3+ years of proven experience in database administration in PostgreSQL, with additional experience in Databasessuch asDB2 for Z, or SQL Server highly preferred

  • 4+ years of understanding of applications development environment, database, data management, and infrastructure capabilities and constraints

  • 2+ years of experience with AWS RDS instances

  • Experience using infrastructure as code within database management environments

  • Mastery level of tuning and writing in SQL language

  • Expertise with Python, React, Java Scripting, Terraform

  • Experience with DevOps principles and lean development such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Jenkins, Active Control)

  • Proven experience working in a team environment, among team members and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs

  • At least one yearof proven experience working withAgile/Scrum team roles and responsibilities


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related, OR equivalent related work experience
