Title: Process Improvement Manager - 106664

Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As a Process Improvement Manager for JD Financial Worldwide Headquarters located in Johnston, IA, you will develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization. In addition, you will:

  • Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance.

  • Analyze process performance and provide meaningful and actionable process insights that unlock value and allow for innovative solutions.

  • Drive innovative and transformational process changes optimized for automation and emerging technologies that significantly improve business results.

  • Lead the execution of process improvement initiatives from opportunity identification through implementation utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools, delivering desired results.

  • Manage the JDF Lean Six Sigma training program and community of practice, conduct training classes, coach and counsel employees through the certification process, and drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Seek and monitor industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies.

What Skills You Need

  • Five plus years of experience leading Lean Six Sigma process improvements, program/project management, and/or change management.

  • Knowledge and experience with the Lean Six Sigma method & tools, process management principles and tools, and change management principles and techniques.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply tools and methodologies to scope and structure complex problems, gather and synthesize findings, evaluate options through discovery and experimentation, and develop and implement robust solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization and lead and influence without positional authority.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization through both verbal and written.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green or Black Belt) or equivalent.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong time management and planning skills with experience managing concurrent projects, competing priorities, and critical deadlines.

  • Experience within the Financial Services Industry with lending products and processes.

  • Skills with Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Mural, MS Whiteboard, PowerBI, Process/task mining software.

  • Experience with agile delivery methodologies (Scrum).


Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Product Management, or Program/Project Management discipline or equivalent experience.
