John Deere Intern in the Area of GNSS and Communication Systems (m/f/d) in Kaiserslautern, Germany

The Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) of John Deere in Kaiserslautern develops future trends and technologies in the area of mobile agricultural and construction machinery in cooperation with different research centers. In addition, ISG develops and sells products and services in the area of precision farming using global satellite based navigation systems (GNSS), automated steering systems, machine automation, sensor technologies, telematic system solutions, web applications as well as apps for mobile devices to optimize farming processes and to support decision making.

The John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group in Kaiserslautern is looking for an

Intern in the area of GNSS and Communication Systems (m/f/d)

You can look forward to these tasks:

  • Support in setting up, testing and analyzing radio systems

  • Participation in the further development of test and analysis tools for the automated evaluation of information technology products

  • Independent processing of sub-projects

  • Documentation of your results

  • Support of the specialist department in day-to-day business

    The skills you need:

  • Studies in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, geoinformatics or comparable

  • Programming skills (C/C++/C#, Matlab, Python, LabView)

  • Good analytical skills

  • Very good skills in English, written and spoken

  • Autonomy, Ability to work in teams, reliability and engagement
