SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (M/F)
John Deere Bank Luxembourg is the European Headquarters for John Deere Financial, part of John Deere, the world’s leading producer of agricultural equipment with total net sales and revenues of US$ 30 billion last year. Our primary activity is providing financial services to John Deere customers and John Deere dealers who want to finance John Deere equipment.
What You’ll Do
In this position you will be a part of our Financial Management team and will provide accurate and timely financial, tax and transfer pricing information.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, statements and reconciliations for our Italian subsidiary
Act as a main contact for the Italian external auditors
Prepare yearly tax data for our European entities, with the assistance of external tax advisors
Create corporate consolidated Transfer Pricing documentation for our European entities. Act as primary contact for any Transfer Pricing and Intercompany Agreement questions.
Prepare local Transfer Pricing documentation in cooperation with our local tax advisors
Prepare internal corporate tax exhibits and ensure appropriateness of the accounting entries
Actively support internal projects and improve internal procedures
What It Takes
Degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent experience (University Degree 4 years or equivalent)
A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance and/or Audit
Familiarity with US-GAAP and IFRS
Experience in preparation of financial statements in IFRS & Italian GAAP
Knowledge of Tax and Transfer Pricing is a plus
Detail oriented, well organized, flexible and strong communication skills
High level of analytical skills and working independently
Capacity to solve problems, identify options and propose a reasoned solution
Fluent in English is a must. Ability to read, write and speak the Italian language is a plus
