Our Enterprise Translation Services department is looking for an

Intern (m/w/d)

(Start: end of January 2020 for a period of up to 6months)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Participating in various tasks performed by our enterprise-wide translation department, with the focus on the terminology process

  • Assessment of glossaries

  • Terminological research

  • Helping to compile the terminology databank: checking and expanding on existing entries and terms (source language: English)

  • Working in collaboration with various other departments (Marketing, Customer Services etc.)

  • Assisting our team of terminology reviewers (linguistics and product experts)

  • Doing a small amount of translation work

What Skills you need:

  • You are taking or have completed a degree course in translation, preferably specializing in terminology

  • Excellent knowledge of English, preferably to native-speaker standard

  • Previous experience with engineering of technology, or an interest in agricultural machinery

  • You are meticulous, capable of abstract thinking, well organized, a good team-worker, confident and communicative
