Title: Cloud Oracle DBA - 75999
- As an Oracle DBA at John Deere, you will work on a product team that supports product design by planning its work, coordinating with others, and writing and testing code to deliver functionality for the complete product or products it supports. This level designs complex/significant parts of a system/sub-system or works on a complete product of a broad scope and solves well-defined problems with little guidance. You may act as a work lead, providing technical coaching to other engineers and support personnel; recognized as an expert user of critical technology; develops new software functionality for product development.
What Skills You Need
Proven experience in the Oracle database administratoion (required), design, development, testing, provisioning and/or integration of high complex software solutions leveraging change management specifically with back-end design, development, and optimization (3+ years)
Strong hands on experience with Oracle database administration, support, design, installs, implementations, etc.
Strong hands-on experience working in the cloud with AWS
Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints (4+ years)
Hands on experience on AWS RDS for Oracle.(2+ years)
Configuring and utilizing Oracle Data Pump in an AWS Oracle RDS environment and integration with AWS S3. .(2+ years)
Experience configuring and managing AWS DMS for achieving data replication (CDC) between AWS Oracle RDS instances. .(2+ years)
Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment (1+ years)
Proven deep experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery including utilization and supporting tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory. (1+ years)
Working understanding of design patterns (2+ years)
Experience in configuring of monitoring tools like AppD and Cloud Watch.
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience with Java and/or API devleopment is nice to have
DevOps and/or DevSecOps experience is nice to have
Interpersonal, Leadership and Teaming Competencies
Capable of collaborating with multiple business stakeholders to provide information technology solutions
Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution
Proven experience working in a team environment
Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
