Your Responsibility

As a Data Analytics Engineer for Service Parts Data product team located in Milan, IL, you will….

  • Work with a team of engineers and architects to design, build and implement cloud-based solutions for Parts applications and reporting environments

  • Support the migration of existing on-premise applications and reporting environments to Amazon Web-Services (AWS)

  • Contribute to our data pipelines with in-depth knowledge of modern data modeling

  • Develop, implement, and support methodologies, standards, and tools for data management such as metadata management, data modeling, data transformation, data quality, data integration, and data security

What Skills You Need

  • 4 or more years of experience developing, testing and implementing major Information Technology programs or projects that are broad in scope or multi-unit/cross divisional

  • 4 or more years of experience with data structures or data modeling

  • 2 or more years of experience building and supporting global, production-scale, cloud-based systems that are business-critical using Databricks platform and Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • 2 or more years of coding experience with Python, PySpark, SQL.

  • 2 or more years of experience with DBMS tools: PostgreSQL, DB2 z/OS, Oracle, SAP HANA.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Knowledge of various ETL techniques and frameworks including the Deere Enterprise Data Lake

  • Working experience with Data Processing tools: AWS ElasticMapReduce (AMR), AWS Data Pipeline, Git, Github, Informatica

  • Experience with Utility Applications: Tableau, PowerBI, MS Office, SAP BI, Business Objects

  • Professional level Amazon Web Services certifications

  • Demonstrated strong analytic skills with high attention to detail and accuracy


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience
