Title: Dealer Parts Management Process Specialist - 77284

Your Responsibilities

As a Dealer Parts Management Process Specialist for the Aftermarket & Customer Support division of John Deere located in Milan, IL you will be a critical part of the team that supports the Dealer Parts Management process globally. Dealer Parts Management provides service to John Deere dealers to improve their aftermarket parts inventory availability and profitability, known generically as retail inventory management (RIM). John Deere utilizes a proprietary software known as JDPrism to execute this service. In addition, you will:

  • Provide direct day-to-day support for Dealer Parts Management analysts.

  • Supports the tools and processes that allow a DPM analyst to work with dealers

  • Execute business support processes

  • Provide continuous improvement of the DPM system/process

  • Assist with problem resolution and the definition of new features or functions

  • Assist refining and approving acceptance criteria providing the business context and priority

  • Assist executing user acceptance testing and tracking the progress of analyst and dealer changeover/conversion

  • Lead DPM and JDPrism communication delivery including JDPrism alerts, notifications, regional coordination for instruction or best practices, collecting feedback on system/process needs.

What Skills You Need

  • 2 or more years’ experience providing end-user support (ex. Dealer Technical Assistance Center (DTAC), call center, helpdesk, etc.)

  • Strong organizational skills

  • High quality verbal and written communications (ex. clear acceptance criteria, constructive feedback, education materials and delivery)

  • 1 or more years’ experience working with IT development teams

  • 1 or more years’ experience working with business or inventory management principles and metrics (ex. inventory valuation, cost of sales, fill, turn, etc.)

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience working with applications such as Java, DB2, SQL, or data management in HANA or data lake environments

  • Experience working with John Deere dealer business and dealer channel.

  • Experience working with John Deere dealers.

  • Experience with Agile development methodology

  • Experience working with global teams, especially teams located in India


Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering, IT or equivalent
