Title: Programming Analyst - 40350
As a Programming Analyst working in the Engineering Team at the Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Milan, IL, you will work with other Programming Analysts and Industrial Engineers to apply data analysis using statistical techniques, revise existing, and create new data reports to display and summarize data such as: CIPP (Continuous Improvement) team performance, employee activity, and warehouse management/overview reports. In addition, you will:
Convert existing IE reports from using input data in the form of a flat file to other data sources, most notably SQL Server
Serve as the SharePoint administrator for both the Industrial and Facilities Engineering sites
Lead the yearly Carlisle Benchmark data gathering project

What Skills You Need
Strong communication skills
Self-directed and motivated
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Excellent problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server
Experience programming in SAS, VBA (Excel), or any .NET language
Demonstrated background in statistical analysis and mathematical computation
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%

Experience in data transformation processes and programming techniques
Knowledge of CIPP and CI processes
Experience with warehousing and/or logistics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office SharePoint
Education (or equivalent work experience)
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology, or Industrial Engineering with acceptable experience in programming, or equivalent experience
