Onsite/Remote:Partial Remote Position

This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serves as the "servant leader" ofscrum team(s) by facilitating the removal of impediments, helping the team deliver customer value quickly, and coaching the team in continuous improvement efforts to achieve high performance

  • Understands a business unit's products, services and basic business processes, ensures development work is prioritized by Product Owner using business value, and helps the team determine how they can support their product's successful delivery to customers.

  • Works independently receiving oversight during critical decision points or issues. Selects tools, frameworks, and methodologies for team-level activities, within established guidelines. Develops strong relationships with key role trio members, Product Owner and Engineering Manager, to provide guidance for teams.

  • This level typically leads 1-2 scrum teams; Facilitates efforts of large and complex features that may involve integrating the work of 1-2 teams.

What Skills You Need (Required skills/experiences)

  • 1-3 years demonstrated experience in a scrum master role

  • Recognized active industry Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Coach or Registered Scrum Master

  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills

  • Ability to develop productive working relationships with a wide variety of teams and leaders

  • Possesses familiarity with multiple technologies, development methods and systems, a basic understanding of programming languages and knowledge of how to apply Lean and DevOps principles to help teams improve

What Makes You Stand Out (Desired skills/experiences)

  • Proven ability to coach and develop others

  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms

  • Ability to influence without authority to resolve impediments across teams and products

  • Ability to plan and execute deployment activities at the team level

  • Recognized certifications in Coaching, Lean, Kanban, Agile Trainer or DevOps

Education Details

Bachelors Degree inEngineering/Technology discipline or 5 years equivalent related work experience
