Title: Technical Support Specialist - 41436

Your Responsibilities

As a Technical Support Specialist at the North America Parts Distribution Center you will provide technical support regarding parts to field teams, channel partners and customers. You will provide customer support for parts, products, services, or initiatives.

Additionally, you will:

  • Resolve complex parts issues using resource materials

  • Report complex problems to higher levels for resolution; locating existing information from internal sources

  • Deliver parts system training materials

  • Willingness to work off-shift, holidays and weekends to support dealers and customers

  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and negotiating skills

  • Experience successfully working in a team environment as well as independently

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Customer service experience

What Makes You Stand Out

Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:

  • Working knowledge of DTAC / CCMS system, DNS and/or JDPOINT, Parts Advisor, Parts Expert, Ag Sales Manual, Price Pages, Dealer Path, SAP, RECON (ability to read engineering drawings)

  • Familiarity with all John Deere products and services and our competitors

  • Familiarity with the John Deere Customer Support Processes

  • Factory experience

Education (or equivalent work experience)

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or agricultural science related discipline or a minimum of 2 years interaction with customers regarding products, parts and services
