This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
As an A&CS Warehouse Automation Lead for JD North American Parts Distribution Center located in Milan, Illinois , you will be responsible for developing and executing a far-reaching technology strategy across multiple sites.
Document near and long-term automation vision for A&CS in a leadership-ready roadmap while leveraging data and small-scale pilots to continually drive refinements
Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to create compelling capital requests and oversee the physical configuration of automation solutions for existing and future warehouses
Commission large-scale equipment installations, and create training and maintenance programs for sustained operations

What Skills You Need
• 10 or more years integrating goods-to-person technologies into distribution centers
• Warehouse automation experience
• 5 or more years people -management
• 5 or more years owning technology roadmaps
What Makes You Stand Out
• Warehouse operations management experience
• Experience installing with unit-load crane ASRS, bot-and-grid systems, VLM, and AGVs
• Experience in aftermarket parts or heavy machinery distribution
• Experience working in SAP/EWM WMS environment
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
