Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As a HR Representative for John Deere Product Engineering (Ag and Turf) located in Waterloo, IA or Moline, IL you will….

  • Act as a strategic thought partner, consultant, and advisor to business leaders and employees on HR related matters

  • Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives within the unit

  • Support deployment of HR programs, organizational changes, policies, and initiatives in support of the business strategy

    Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.

What Skills You Need

  • Experience coaching/counseling others on HR topics, or other confidential matters

  • Experience providing expertise in employee relations issues including support consultation and guidance on performance and disciplinary issues

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate, and work with, various levels of leadership

  • High level of personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters

  • Ability to operate as an inclusive employee, be aware of, and embrace, diversity of thought, cultural differences, and act as the voice of employees

  • Ability to drive results amidst competing priorities

  • Attention to detail and analytically driven

What Makes You Stand Out

  • 2 or more years of experience in HR processes, such as recruiting/staffing, operations, benefits

  • Knowledge and experience using SAP and Talent Central tools

  • PHR or SHRM Certification

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experiences in the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management
