Title: Software Engineer II - 2025066

Your Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer II for John Deere in Moline, IL, you will:

  • Develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems;

  • Evaluate and implement enhancement design solutions to improve the cost, quality, and performance of software applications;

  • Analyze assignments and determine software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives;

  • Execute necessary documentation, as directed or needed;

  • Collaborate with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs;

  • Follow industry standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation.

  • Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. Up to 40% remote work allowed. Less than 10% domestic travel required.

What Skills You Need

  • 5 years of experience in analyze requirements, design, configure and customize SAP implementations using ABAP in a TDD environment via ABAP Unit and SAP ATC, SAP OData, SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, SAP Cloud Business rules and have experience using SD, ATP and legacy system integration Hana Views, SLT and SQL queries to support and implement solutions for the Available to Promise (ATP) and Order Fulfillment business process

  • 5 years of experience in maintain and configure middleware in SAP PI, SAP Gateway and Microsoft Azure using authentication and authorization tools and techniques Okta, OAuth2.0, and ServiceNow AD groups

  • 5 years of experience in contribute to agile teams to improve the product being developed and supported and document the work done and modifications added to enhance the overall product experience to improve upcoming releases

  • 4 years of experience in ETL Tools including BODS, Palantir and EDL

  • 5 years of experience in API Management experience including AKANA and Azure to monitor tools including AppDynamics and Grafana

  • 2 years of experience using AWS Services including S3, EC2, Route53 and Microsoft Power Automate to integrate with different tools like SAP, Service Now

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field plus 5 years related experience.
