As an Accountant for the Equipment Operations Branch Accounting Shared Service located in Moline, IL, you will oversee and align processes for dealer billings, branch inventory transfers, and extended warranty accounting across Construction & Forestry and AG & Turf equipment operations. In addition, you will...
Provide subject matter expertise and implement change management for system legacy replacement projects.
Provide work direction, mentoring, and leadership to Finance Development Program and Part Time Student employees.
Interact with accounting and business professionals at John Deere Finance, Marketing, Order Fulfillment, Factories, and the Shared Services groups to solve problems and implement process change.

What Skills You Need
Three or more years of accounting/finance experience
Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills being able to communicate concisely and clearly
Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities with a strong attention to detail
Continuous process improvement mind-set
Understanding of integrated systems of internal controls
What Makes You Stand Out
Familiarity with SAP and legacy systems such as L043, COMAR, and RMDS
Prior Branch or JDF Accounting Experience
Ability to influence others without authority
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
