Title: Agile Coach - Software Engineer - 71270
As an Agile Coach at John Deere in Moline, IL, you will help drive Deere’s agile transformation (agile operating model) by coaching scrum teams and leaders in the adoption and application of agile values and principles, DevOps mindset and software engineering practices. In addition, you will;
Serve as an agent of change and as a leader that models and reinforces agile values and continuously build team capabilities
Coach teams through software engineering practices by helping to implement object-oriented design principles, API abstraction design patterns, pipeline automation, quality practices including Test Driven Development, pairing, mobbing, automated testing, and other modern development practices
Support domains in Deere business or functions that are high in complexity & impact on Deere's overall business requiring significant experience in agile coaching

What Skills You Need
8+ years of software development experience
Proven deep experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as CI/CD, TDD, BDD, etc. (5+ years)
Intermediate level understanding of Agile development process, methodology, and scaling
4+ years of experience as an Agile Coach or equivalent Agile Product Team role
Working understanding of full-stack design patterns and designing loosely coupled architectures (4+ years)
Experience implementing Value Stream Maps, Design Thinking methodology
Experience pairing/mobbing as a team member, EM or coach
Has performed other agile roles such as Engineering Manager, Software Engineer
Additional Advanced Agile Certifications
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience and proven ability to coach/mentor roles within our agile operating model (Directors, Product Managers, GEMs, Product Owners, EMs, SMs, Engineers)
Proven ability to develop other agile coaches (will need to coach other coaches)
Ability to be coached by others
Active in the Developer Communities (both inside and outside of John Deere)
Proven strong leadership skill and experience, influence effectively, ability to resolve impediments in a timely manner
Learning Agility / Innovative - desire and openness for continuous technical learning and identifying areas for application
Growth mindset - willingness to deal and thrive in uncertainty
Proactively identifying impediments and experience overcoming roadblocks (technical & business) at multiple levels of the organization
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Technology/IT discipline or equivalent experience
